The Solebury Club will host an Open House on Wednesday, November 11th from 6:30-8:30pm to celebrate 10 years in business. The public is invited to this free event to celebrate with the Solebury Club, whose slogan is ‘sweating doesn’t have to be ugly’, a unique health and fitness club in the area, to raise funds for our local veterans who experience symptoms of PTSD. This boutique health club offers cardio and strength training, plus yoga, meditation, karate for adults and children, and spinning. The facilities include sauna, steam room, a spa and café, plus free kids care.
The Solebury Club is a proud sponsor and supports the efforts of Meghan’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization (501(c)3) led by Bucks County resident Thomas Shortt, Veteran of the Vietnam War (U.S. Marine Corps). The Foundation’s mission is to raise awareness and support for veterans who may be experiencing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) by developing free, trauma-sensitive programs of yoga and meditation for veterans and their spouses or partners. Many studies have shown that yoga and meditation help those with the symptoms of PTSD. meghansfoundation.org gives back to our veterans, who have given so much for us, especially on Veterans Day.
During the event, enjoy music, tours of the facility and there will be photography for sale to raise funds for Meghan’s Foundation. Great way to get a head start on Xmas shopping as well as to help those in need in our community. The Solebury Club is located at 4612 Hughesian Drive in Buckingham 18912.
